2009-2010 School Year Tuition Rates
Kindergarten: $6,000/year
Lower School (Grades 1 - 4): $7,000/year
Middle School (Grades 5 - 8): $8,000/year

Payments can be made in full or in installments, starting in July, August or September, depending on the payment plan. It is important to note that the actual cost of providing this educational experience is approximately $16,000/year per student. The difference in the actual rate and the tuition rate we offer is covered by the generosity of the Academy's many faithful supporters.

We are committed to making this education available to any family who wants high quality Classical Christian education for their children, and to not let financial obstacles prevent enrollment. Accordingly, the Academy's board has adopted a family-income-related (needs-based) tuition assistance model. Each family who considers our basic tuition unaffordable is invited to apply for tuition assistance.

Who should apply?
We encourage you to apply if you have any doubt about your ability to pay. A good rule of thumb is that if the tuition for a family's child or children (including children in other schools) exceeds 10% of their net income, they should consider applying. Families who do not apply for assistance will be expected to pay the full tuition.

Who decides how much assistance each family will receive?
Financial aid awards are based on an objective, confidential assessment of family expenses and need.

Here are the key points about our tuition management:

  • Tuition is established by the board and administered by the Tuition Committee.
  • The tuition to be paid by each family is a vital commitment in their child/ren's education. Each family will sign a Tuition Agreement that specifies their tuition for the year (and reflecting any aid awarded).
  • An advance payment of $500 is required from each family before starting classes, which includes a $250 curriculum fee plus an initial deposit of $250 toward the net tuition due.
  • Several payment options are available. Monthly payments will be processed by our tuition processing service, called FACTS Management Company
  • Families who find themselves unable to make their payments need to contact the Tuition Supervisor to work out alternate arrangements.
  • If an alternate payment plan is not sustained, we regret that your child/ren will need to be educated elsewhere.
